How can teachers and school staff be supported in managing multicultural environments?
Encouraging the inclusion process of migrant and/or refugee students from the earliest stages of their education is crucial to countering early school leaving. Schooling and support for improved school performance are among the best and most effective strategies for the inclusion of migrant communities.
In this context, teachers and school staff increasingly need innovative and continuous training in managing multicultural environments and supporting migrant and/or refugee students.
As part of the E-COURSE project, we organise a short training course of 3 meetings for primary school teachers and staff. The main purpose of the course is to provide skills and tools to foster intercultural dialogue in the classroom and the inclusion of migrant and/or foreign pupils.
- The role of non-formal education in promoting interculturality
- Cultural shocks and management of intercultural environments
- Raising awareness of cultural diversity
- Intercultural dialogue
- Overview on major migrant communities and cultural traits
Would you like to participate in the training?
The training course is open to a maximum of 10 participants.
